Welcome. This is our EyeOpener Video Report by James Corbett for BoilingFrogsPost.com. A recent court case in Utah has uncovered yet more evidence that the FBI is hiding key documents from the public by placing them in a separate, hitherto unknown electronic storage medium known as an “S-drive.” The fact that this drive was previously unknown has raised the specter that the FBI is using it as a place to hide requests for sensitive documents through the Freedom of Information Act. Now, a federal judge has given the FBI until the end of the month to explain what the S-drive is, how it is being used, and whether it contains key documents related to the case in question. Under the Freedom of Information Act, the FBI is not required to say if a document exists, only that they searched their database and found no records responsive to the request. If these documents are placed in an external or disconnected storage drive, however, the agency can insure that they will never show up in any FOIA request.In fact, the FBI has been known to have used this very technique in the past. Going under such names as “June files,” “zero files” and “I-drive,” the agency has a long and documented history of placing key evidence in special, compartmentalized files that are reviewed by senior officials before the information is placed into the bureau’s official files. Joining James Corbett this week to discuss the history and significance of the FBI’s secret storage drives are attorney Jesse Trentadue and the former privacy act coordinator at the Minneapolis FBI field office and noted FBI whistleblower, Coleen Rowley. “Speaking Fee” is the New Name for Political Donation Laundering-Rechanneling (PDLR)
Since leaving the White House in 2000, the Hillary-Bill Clinton duo have expanded their wealth by more than 100 fold to over $110 million dollars. In 2000 the Clintons left the White House an $11 million dollar debt and annual income of $358,000. But within eight years, through ‘speaking fees,’ books, and a maze of ‘mysteriously smart investments,’ the couple’s net-worth exceeded one hundred million dollars. When asked, when pressed a little (only ‘a little’ thanks to the extreme kindness of US mainstream media when it comes to the Clintons), they attribute their ‘great fortune’ to the demand for Bill Clinton as the ‘Orator Extraordinaire.’ You see, there’s always been a certain degree of demand for former US presidents’ speeches, at least for those in the last three decades, but never anything like the bewildering demand for Bill Clinton; not even close; both in terms of the dollars per speech and the quantity of invitations. But then again, there has never been a former president in a very special situation like this; one with a wife as a senator (serving on the Committee on Armed Services among others) and later as Secretary of State. With a wife in such positions, no wonder the great demand, whether it is China or Kuwait or Columbia; whether it is Goldman Sachs or Citigroup or Sakura! Who said ‘Talk is Cheap’! The top players in the PDLR business circuit call him the ‘miracle funnel boy'. Here is one example: Many
of Bill Clinton's six-figure speeches have been made to companies whose
employees and political action committees have been among Hillary
Clinton's top backers in her Senate campaigns. The New York investment
giant Goldman Sachs paid him $650,000 for four speeches in recent
years. Its employees and PAC have given her $270,000 since 2000 --
putting it second on the list of her most generous political patrons.
The
banking firm Citigroup, whose employees and PAC have been Hillary
Clinton's top source of campaign donations, with more than $320,000,
paid her husband $250,000 for a speech in France in 2004. Last year, it
committed $5.5 million for Clinton's Global Initiative to help
encourage entrepreneurship and financial education among the poor. … Now
interestingly, two-thirds
of Bill Clinton’s speaking money came from foreign sources. Somehow,
outside the United States clients are willing to pay even more to hear
him speak! As for the timing
of this foreign demand intensification:
In the last nine months
of 2008, Bill Clinton made at least $150,000-a-pop speaking to groups
in some of the very places where his wife now will now represent
American diplomacy, from India to Kuwait to China to Malaysia. In fact,
the latter three speaking stops came in the last month-and-a-half of
the year, as the Clinton and Obama camps were hammering out the
agreement under which President Obama ultimately offered Hillary
Clinton the job as top diplomat. The National Bank of
Kuwait paid Bill Clinton $350,000 for a Nov. 16 speech, while Hong
Kong’s Hybrid Kenetic Automotive Holdings shelled out $300,000 for a
talk Dec. 4 and a Malaysian foundation paid $200,000 for Clinton to
speak the very next day in Kuala Lumpur. … The
former president in 2005 helped the U.S. arm of Israel's treasury
authority sell $101 million in investment bonds by speaking at a
luncheon at the Pierre Hotel in New York that was jammed with real
estate executives who wanted to hear his keynote address. … Of course, the Clinton couple has been the darling of the Military Industrial Complex. Whether throughout her senate candidacy, senate residency, or presidential candidacy, the Clintons have counted on and greatly benefited from the mega corporations of the military industrial complex. You’d think with all his history (veteran, great supporter of MIC) and hawkish stand, John McCain should have gotten the largest chunk of MIC contributions during the race, right? Not so: Employees of the top
five arms makers - Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop-Grumman, Raytheon
and General Dynamics -- gave Democratic presidential candidates
$103,900, with only $86,800 going to Republicans.
Senator Clinton took in $52,600, more than half of the total going to all Democrats, and a figure equaling 60 percent of the sum going to the entire GOP field. Her closest competitor for defense industry money is former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R.), who raised $32,000.In an unexpected development, Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.), the ranking Republican on the Armed Services Committee and a decorated Vietnam War veteran, raised just $19,200… So we have the financial mega corporations, MIC, and foreign lobby all covered in their funneling to Hillary Clinton the senator and later Hillary Clinton the Secretary of State, via their miraculous funnel boy. The
Quest
for ClearanceI was listening only
half-heartedly until one of my friends, a woman in her mid thirties who
worked for a midsize travel agency, started talking about how
she’d been waiting for the completion of the process to get her
security clearance, and that she couldn’t wait to get ‘the
darn thing,’ and with it her promotion and a
15% salary increase. Now that perked up my ears and grabbed my full
attention. After all, I’d been intimately familiar with security
clearances and related issues for several years and dealt with them
extensively, working with hundreds of national security whistleblowers,
and networking with attorneys. What I couldn’t understand was
this: Why in the world would a
travel agent working in a private travel agency need or want to have a
security clearance?! So, I asked: ‘What
do you need the clearance for?’ And she responded:
‘The agency I work for has a contract with the
federal government. We provide airline tickets, rental car and hotel
reservations for some federal employees…’ I asked again: ‘So
why do you need clearance to do that?’ She said: ‘Well,
the government agency requires that only those
employees with security clearance handle their account, and since it is
a fairly large account the travel agency I work for assigns several
travel agents.’
After a brief a pause it
dawned on me, ‘Oh, I guess your account is
with one
of THOSE agencies…DOD, CIA… gotcha…’
My friend interrupted:
‘No, actually it’s not. It’s the
Department of Commerce. And it’s not even for their executive
level people…just regular employees.’
I kept asking myself why
in the world the Commerce Department would require travel agents with
security clearance to handle their good ole ordinary travel
arrangements. ……….
As I was processing the
above information and reasoning, the man, Joe, straightened his
shoulders, and if I’m not mistaken, kind of puffed up his
chest…you know the body language I’m talking about; right?
He said: ‘I’ve
got TSC; Top Secret Clearance. I’ve had it
for almost a year now. My pay went up 25% the day I got it.’
Since the other two were
obviously familiar with his line of work I was the one with the first
question: ‘So who do you service?’
He put on the coolest
and most aloof expression he could manage, which ended up being neither
cool nor aloof: ‘I can’t talk about it. All I
can tell you is that I’m a software programmer and we’ve
got big contracts all right…’
I decided not to press
‘who for or why’, and instead, try to find out how much he
understood of the significance of having TSC as a private sector
employee, both positive and negative.
Obviously he considered
the 25% increase in salary as the major positive; well, obviously. And
considering his body language and tone he appeared to regard his clearance status as something ‘cool,’
‘important,’ and ‘ego-boosting.’ He was single,
so maybe he thought it made him more of a chick magnet…So I
decided to see if he perceived any downside to having a TSC.
I asked him bluntly:
‘There are bunch of things you end up giving
up for
TSC; some would even say ‘they get you by the …’
don’t you think?’
Joe, already on his
third drink, nodded: ‘Yeah.’ And
then he
said something I was neither expecting nor prepared for, ‘It
complicates everything in the banging department.’
After a brief pause I
recovered:’ How so?’
Joe: ‘Well,
basically, you have to report who you sleep with and all the details if
the girl is not a citizen, or has an accent or something.’ He
continued, ‘About 8 months ago I met this hot
woman
with a cute accent and we hit it off right away…stayed together
that weekend…and that Monday I had to go and report the entire
thing...’
I probed for more
details: ‘You mean report in writing? - Orally?’
Joe:’ Both!
First, I had to fill out this form, and then I was called in to answer
questions and give more details…’
I interrupted him:
‘No kidding! They have a form for this??!
What’s it called, ‘Banging Disclosure Form? BDF?’ ……… The Nation of Cleared

July 2009 data, about 2.4
million persons currently
hold security clearances for authorized access to classified
information. And this figure, 2.4 million, does NOT even include some
of those with clearances who work in areas of national intelligence.
In fiscal year 2008 the
Office of Personnel Management and the Defense Department processed about
450,000 requests for
confidential, secret and top-secret clearances. According to bits and
pieces of data here and there, there are over three million federal

"Fethullah Gulen Takes the Great Game a Step Further" "The
Controversial Muslim preacher has now extended his tentacles into
schools in the United States, where he controls and operates more than
100 charter schools within a calculatively set up maze of dubious NGOs.
Fethullah Gulen, whose organizations’ net worth is estimated to be
somewhere between $22 billion and $50 billion, owns and operates over
three hundred Madrasas around the world, including Pakistan, Central
Asia, and the Caucasus. While Gulen’s suspicious and secretive Madrasas
have been shut down and or restrained in countries such as Russia,
Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, based on these governments’ justified
suspicions that his schools
had more than just education on their agendas, his rapidly and
secretively expanding charter school empire here in the US has gone
quite unnoticed and unacknowledged. In less than a decade Gulen’s Islamic network in the US has established over 100 publicly funded charter schools in 25 states. What makes this eyebrow raising phenomenon a very disturbing case is the fact that despite official documents and publicly available data Fethullah Gulen is going out of his way to deny his connections to these schools. The question is why? Here are a few excerpts from a USA Today article in August 2010: The
schools educate as many as 35,000 students — taken together they'd make
up the largest charter school network in the USA — and have imported
thousands of Turkish educators over the past decade.But the success of
the schools at times has been clouded by nagging questions about what
ties the schools may have to a reclusive Muslim leader in his late 60s
living in exile in rural Pennsylvania.

administrators say they have no official ties to Gülen. And Gülen
himself denies any connection to the schools. Still, documents
available at various foundation websites and in federal forms required
of non-profit groups show that virtually all of the schools have opened
or operate with the aid of Gülen-inspired "dialogue" groups, local
non-profits that promote Turkish culture. In one case, the Ohio-based
Horizon Science Academy of Springfield in 2005 signed a five-year
building lease with the parent organization of Chicago's Niagara
Foundation, which promotes Gülen's philosophy of "peace, mutual
respect, the culture of coexistence." Gülen is the foundation's
honorary president. In many cases, charter school board members also
serve as dialogue group leaders. … …lawmakers,
researchers and parents are beginning to put the schools under the
microscope for hiring practices — they import hundreds of teachers from
Turkey each year — and for steps they take to keep their academic
profile high. The
schools' unacknowledged ties to Gülen, they say, mock public schools'
